Biography

My name is Courtney Beauchamp based in Savannah, Georgia, but originally from Ashburn, Virginia. I am currently a senior at SCAD, majoring in film and television and minoring in photography. I specialize in post production work (mainly video editing) and photography. I am a very hard worker, communicative, and hands-on. If you need me to do something, I am there.

 

I recall a time before my time at SCAD when I was working my part-time server job at the Alamo Drafthouse in Northern Virginia, and we had a screening with Patton Oswalt there. When I had the chance to speak to him, I asked him possibly the most basic question ever, "What's your advice for a rising filmmaker?" He told me, "Get your hands on anything. Any experience is good experience."

Over the years at SCAD, I have taken that advice to heart and have taken on any work on film projects I could find. I took on roles such as director for a short film and music video, assistant director, assistant camera, and script supervisor. With most of my experience on and off set as a video editor and behind-the-scenes photographer.
